The alleged Boston Marathon bomber, Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, has admitted that he has been receiving financial donations from other people.

Dzhokhar and his brother Tamerlan allegedly bombed the Boston Marathon, which killed three persons and injured more than a hundred people last April. Dzhokhar survived a standoff a few days after his brother got killed by the police. The federal police then charged Dzhokhar for using a weapon for mass destruction.

The federal prison gives Dzhokhar’s family the opportunity to talk to him once every month. However, the authorities record and monitor every phone call between the suspect and his family. According to the recordings, Dzhokhar’s mother is very worried and becomes very emotional whenever she talks to her son.

In Dzhokhar’s first phone call to his mother, he told her that he has been receiving money from different people. In fact, someone opened a bank account for him after he was arrested. His mother claims that the family has also received $8,000 from people pledging their support.

According to investigators, Dzhokhar‘s brother searched for extremist and militant contacts when he went to Dagestan last year. However, his family denies the accusations, saying that Tamerlan went to Dagestan only to claim his new Russian passport and to visit his family.

Despite all the charges against the Tsarnaev brothers, their parents still believe that their children were just set up. The family has always firmly believed that both brothers have nothing to do with the Boston Marathon bombing.
